Vanguard FTSE 100 Index Unit Trust

The Fund seeks to track the performance of the FTSE 100 Index (the Index). The Index is a market-capitalisation weighted index representing the performance of the 100 largest companies traded on the London Stock Exchange that pass screening for size and liquidity. The Fund attempts to: 1. Track the performance of the Index by investing in all constituent shares of the Index in the same proportion as the Index. Where not practicable to fully replicate, the Fund will use a sampling process. 2. Remain fully invested and hold small amounts of cash except in extraordinary market, political or similar conditions where the Fund may temporarily depart from this investment policy.
