What the manager said
July marked a third month of pronounced rebound for the NAV as it recovered +6.5% to its highest level since February of 131.53p after some churn in June. In our previous factsheet, we predicted that the typical summer updates from our investments could have the potential to influence share prices and some of these have quickly started to land. Fintel, Audioboom & Pebble Beach got their first chance to reiterate guidance since the Strait of Hormuz closed, with the latter two providing commentary that suggested confidence in trading for the remainder of the year. RentGuarantor and Likewise updated markets that they were tracking ahead of expectations, with strong share price reactions for each. Alumasc warned, citing the well-documented UK construction woes, however, the shares barely moved. These rebounds underscore the Manager's confidence in the scope for a second half that repeats the strong 2025 recovery.
